Incyte is one of the leading global biopharmaceutical companies in the world and was ranked as one of the world’s most innovative companies by Forbes Magazine 3 years in a row. As a result, Incyte needed a digital presence to match this achievement.
Innovation driven by pivotal science
The intent was to differentiate the brand as a highly-innovative organization with impact-focused goals. Additionally, Incyte.com needed a new approach to its user experience.
I needed to design an experience that would intuitively connect specific users to the information they were looking for. For example, key stakeholders needed to access investment and pipeline information easily.
Homepage Modifications
A spectrum of molecules come together to welcome users to the re-designed homepage. The imagery is engaging and meaningful to the Incyte brand. Below the featured image, essential site sections are called out to direct key stakeholders.
Focusing on the priorities
The “For Investors” section of the website was redesigned to create a better experience for those searching for information from the National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations (NASDAQ).
Working with NASDAQ meant that essential automated information needed to fit within specific iframe constraints. Our approach was to design the pages that would pull NASDAQ information first, then design the rest of the pages to complement that experience. In doing so, other crucial sections of the site like the “Incyte Involved” page would harmonize with the sections dictated by the iframe.
Discovery & Development
To highlight their discovery approach, the site showcases molecules in development.
3D renderings created an interactive experience that engaged users and allowed them to take a deeper dive into the advancement of each molecule.
