AstraZeneca Medical Affairs needed a new website to make key content available to health care professionals. The site needed to incorporate search and filtering functionality to allow HCPs to find pertinent information they are looking for quickly.

HCPs that would use this site know exactly what they’re looking for. Our goal was to connect them to that information as quickly as possible. To achieve this, we studied industries that cater to users who know what they’re looking for.
One of the main industries we researched was e-commerce. This is because the majority of all online sales are made after a user has successfully searched for the exact product they were looking for. We were also inspired by travel and booking search engines because like our HCPs, people booking flights usually know exactly where they’re going and when.
